RoboBex. A Good Night Kiss.
I hoarded all sorts of machines and gadgets for as long as I remember. I loved to tinker with them at home, taking apart and piecing back together just to expand my knowledge on their intricate detail. I was absolutely fascinated with what people could build! When I was in high school, I even tried to build myself a friendly robot. I called her Robo. Not very creative, I know, I know. I just really wanted a robot friend, but failed for the most part of course, as I didn’t have any resources for that kind of thing. However my little robot forever took a special place in my heart and memories. I imagined her as a girl, so I made her a female-shaped humanoid body. Sadly, she could not move as I did not know how to make moving parts yet. So, it was basically all just a fancy piece of junk. Later my interests brought me to PC repairs where I worked to this day, broadening all my knowledge on different kinds of programs and software. I studied some basic computer languages at school, but I

Within the dark void of Rebecca's unconsious mind these were new, surprising and disturbingly foreign thoughts, just as out of place as all the electronic components hardwired into her extraced brain. A number of humming processors and twinkling green indicator lights confirmed that the procedure was steadily reaching a healthy conclusion. A grid of surgically embedded electrdoes was now fully mapped over the remaining organic brain matter, linking every significant neutal pathway to the computers of the brain-machine interface. A thick mass of wires came out of her brain stem, just waiting to be connected with a body. [UNRECOGNIZED COMMAND IN CONFIG.SYS_] Rebecca felt drowsy and cold. A black nothingness was slowly whirling around her, teasing with unrecognizable patterns and shapes just out of her range of perception, but otherwise void of all light, matter and feeling. The darkness was filled
